everyone in action yet?

i tell ya, i went to the nutritionist and i went off wheat, dairy and sugar right before the holidays because of health problems, and it wasnt that bad. Sure, I missed all those cookies, but it made the one bite of Sees candies all the sweeter.
Rolanda and I are supporting eachother in getting to the gym/biking/hiking 3x a week for a month (short games to re-up on works well for us)

What is everyone up to? Anyone planning a marathon? Have an lb. goal? What?

    HAH! I have a new trainer who is kicking my butt! He's got me on a planned diet to watch my calorie intake. I go to the gym every day....for now. Gonna go every other day after that...meeting trainer 2 x's a week for the next 18 weeks. Goal is to lose 36 pounds of fat and gain 6 ~ 7 pounds of muscle. Help me keep it up! :)

    I did a 2 hour bike ride with mom yesterday from Washington to the pier back and forth....leisure 'cuz I was with mom....who is 65 and walkin' marathons!

    Rolanda and I just spoke today and I told her that I would help her with her bike getting a tune up... No excuses!

      wooooow. a trainer. so jealous! I want one!

      Its time to trade a coat for a trainer again, last year it did not work out.

      My bike is ready, and I love the beach trail all the way down to PV-- but you gotta go early to avoid the crowds. I could hook up with you at Playa del Rey, or we could start there. We'll do it on a day that you donrt do legs with your trainer...

        LOL....don't be jealous...you have a nutritionist.

        I did the math...my trainer is more expensive than a coat! ....I can't believe how much he costs! I used to trade massage for my trainer sessions. Anyone interested in doing that with me again?

          you got me all fired up, and I now have 2 candidates for the coat/training thing-- and a workout partner trade!
          Thanks for being the catalyst, Shiho. We are gonna be the hottest things on the 3:oo circle this year, in khaki and out!

            hey all,
            wow, i put it out there and in one weeks time I got my trainer and workout partner, and began!
            Its been 3 weeks now, and the results are amazing. My trainer is Michael Antonopolis (he's on tribe, but his name keeps changing ever so slightly! Maybe he is still Ton Ton this week...)
            Super high recommendation here-- contact me if you want his info.
            An my cardio coach/workout partner is Andrea; Veganskater on tribe. She is fantastic.
            Its been such a short time, and I started feeling great from the first day. Looking great for BM was my catalyst, but feeling great every single day is why I will keep doing this, no matter what.
            My experience of cleaning up my eating habits and adding 2 workouts a week has firmed my muscles, soothed my irritated digestive system, lifted my mood to consistant feelings of well being, and caused mental breakthrus. I highly reccomend getting into action if you are interested in these benefits.

              GOOD for you! I have lost 5 #'s and feelin' GREAT too! I'm working out every day....every other day in the gym with my trainer and the rest outdoors....on the beach with my bike or just plain walkin'. I wanna look GOOD for myself and the Playa....Gotta keep it up! :)

                  I bet it can too! I only have one F-ing gear to work with! That part sux!! But, it will be fun to prove that wrong! Bring it!! Call me when you can bike. I train on MON @2pm and WED 3pm....other times available...most times. ;)

                    Naa, we are supposed to stay in the fat burning zone, so it aint about racing.... yet! Though you were kicking my ass on playa as we sped to HQ... what dat? (too much drag on the tutu mebbeee.. )

    Hey Lulie!

    I so admire your discipline with the sugar and the wheat.....I'm not there yet! mmmmm.....chocolate.....coffeeeeeeee........mmmmmmm.....

    But--BUT!!!!

    I just set up this awesome workout space in my garage. Wait till you see it! We have a mini-trampoline, a pullup/leg raise station, a boxing bag (with gloves), and, of course, my hoop.

    I put a rug on the concrete garage floor so my hoop won't skid when I drop it. Also it's good for yoga and stretching.

    It's an awesome little station! I'm really excited.

    And this hooping is definitely trimming my waist and increasing my core strength. I'm stoked about that.

    Got re-assessed and measured today by my Trainer....drum roll please!.... I have lost 8% body fat in 6 weeks time! That's 18 #'s of fat! YEAH! :) I'm doing better than he expected....this month: 4% more is the goal! Feeling tight in all the good places! :)
